About BARC
The Benicia Amateur Radio Club (BARC) is an active group of Ham Radio operators with a slant towards Emergency Communications, working under the umbrella of Solano County's Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS) organization, and the Benicia Fire Dept.
BARC operates the EOC Ham Radio station KB6EOC in the Emergency Operations Center in the main Fire Station.
BARC's two UHF repeaters (KR6BEN) are at an elevation of 600 feet above Benicia.
Frequencies:
Primary – 442.750 MHZ (PL 100HZ)
Secondary – 441.250 MHz (PL 100HZ).
On the secondary repeater:

The BARC Weekly Net is at 7:30 PM local time every Monday evening.
The club meets the second Tuesday of the month, usually at the EOC
150 West Military St. Benicia, CA.
The Club also offers several "Become a Ham in One Day" license classes every year, conducts quarterly VE license testing, participates annually in ARRL Field Day, and conducts Emergency Radio Drills throughout the year.
