The memorial service for Leon was on Sunday, September 17th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Benicia Vets' Hall, 1150 1st Street, Benicia. It was a pot-luck.
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Leon Snethen, KJ6YQM, passed away on the morning of August 16th. Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife Alice, KJ6YQN, and his family members.
He has been, along with Alice, an integral part of BARC, helping and stepping in when things needed to get done. He was the Coordinator for our last Christmas Party. He often made delicious food and/or ran the kitchen for events. He always has had his red Tacoma in the background ready to move anything.
